This position is responsible for conducting in-depth reviews of online classes, providing feedback/academic coaching and participates in faculty scheduling. The role ensures that the appropriate academic performance expectations are met. Manage multiple and concurrent departmental projects. A successful candidate will demonstrate a high attention to detail, effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities. The position reports to the Director Faculty Training & Development, will work closely with other members of the academic team and perform other duties as assigned.


  • Supervise faculty
  • Monitor and evaluate faculty daily classroom performance to ensure academic expectations are being met and notify faculty regarding their performance in a timely manner
  • Collaboratively participate in the hiring, training, and motivating of faculty
  • Collaboratively complete faculty performance appraisals
  • Conduct bi-weekly faculty performance meetings with the program chairs
  • Provide Deans/Directors monthly faculty performance evaluations
  • Utilize the appropriate academic dashboard systems and reports to monitor faculty engagement
  • Complete required professional development each year
  • Teach one course a year
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Master’s degree
  • 5 years higher education online teaching experience
  • 3 years of management experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team and with leadership
  • Be decisive and have the ability/courage to address matters head on
  • Ability to communicate in an online environment
  • Effective interpersonal skills, academic reasoning, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of people (students, faculty, staff, and administrators)
  • Ability to gather, analyze, evaluate, and integrate information electronically
  • Maintain close attention to detail and produce work in a timely fashion
  • Proficient in MS Office with experience with a learning management system such as Bb, Canvas, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
